EIASM and CeFEO Celebrate 20 Years of Family Business Research Excellence
The European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (EIASM) is marking a significant milestone: the 20th anniversary of its Workshop on Family Firm Management Research, held in partnership with the Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership (CeFEO) at Jönköping International Business School.
For two decades, this collaboration has been instrumental in fostering knowledge exchange, building a global research community, and advancing scholarly understanding of family business dynamics.
This year's workshop focuses on "Legacy as a Catalyst in Family Entrepreneurship," examining how legacy extends beyond tradition to drive innovation, resilience, and sustainable growth in family-owned enterprises. The theme reflects a core principle observed in successful family businesses: the ability to draw strength from founding visions and enduring values while adapting to contemporary challenges.
The partnership between EIASM and CeFEO has played a pivotal role in shaping entrepreneurial perspectives among scholars worldwide, leaving a lasting impact on the field of family business research.
The anniversary celebration brings together researchers and academics from across the globe to reflect on two decades of achievement and to chart the course for future developments in family business scholarship.
